Data Collection: Alexa gathers data from users who have the Alexa Toolbar or Alexa browser extension installed on their web browsers. The toolbar provides information about the websites users visit and their behavior.

It’s important to note that Alexa Rank is a relative measure of a website’s popularity compared to other websites on the internet. It is not a measure of the actual number of visitors a site receives, and it has limitations:
